First Presbyterian Church is called by God to
go into the world to serve Jesus Christ.
We do this by:
Growing in faith
Making disciples
Gathering in worship
Showing the love of Christ
WORSHIP:
Maintain traditional worship service, with an emphasis on music, and explore new venues and styles of worship.
Continue an early Sunday a.m. worship service.
Offer special worship opportunities such as Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Palm Sunday worship services.
OUTREACH:
Expand opportunities to be engaged personally in outreach to the community and the world.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION:
Strengthen and expand Christian Education for all ages.
CONGREGATIONAL CARE:
Design and expand a comprehensive ministry of care for one another.
STEWARDSHIP:
Develop a long-term approach to stewardship and manage responsibly the financial and human resources of the congregation so that we can conduct the vibrant ministry of First Presbyterian Church.
